This free session is a great introduction to the: Bringing Baby Home curriculum. Whether you are considering parenthood, awaiting your baby's arrival, or currently parenting a baby or toddler (0-3), Bringing Baby Home is for all couples hoping to prepare their relationship for a growing family!
Backed by decades of research from the Gottman Institute, this session is filled with information, thought-provoking exercises, and opportunities to strengthen your relationship during parenthood.

Instructor: This workshop is led by Melany Barr-Patz, a parent and Child and Family Therapist at the Center for Early Childhood Connections (APCC #15275, supervised by Amanda Campbell, LMFT #50600). Melany is a Franco-American, bilingual French-speaking Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who supports children, tweens, and caregivers through relationship-centered, neuro-affirming, and strengths-based care. She currently offers telehealth services including play therapy, individual therapy, parent consultations, parenting workshops such as Bringing Baby Home, and SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) parent coaching.
Melany is especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals and families, tailoring her approach to honor each person’s unique needs, values, and ways of experiencing the world. Prior to becoming a counselor, she worked as a preschool and elementary school teacher, carrying her love of nurturing relationships and encouraging growth into her clinical work today.
Guided by diversity-informed and collaborative practice, Melany approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and flexibility. She is trained in EMDR, neurodivergent play therapy interventions such as Autplay, and SPACE parenting support. Her telehealth support allows families to engage in play-based work from the comfort of home.
