Joining the team March 16th. Now accepting Carelon/Kaiser referrals!
Anna McCaffrey-Cabezas (she/her) is a Spanish-speaking bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting young children, caregivers, and families. Her work is grounded in the belief that relationships are central to healing and that children’s development unfolds within the cultural, historical, and social contexts of their families and communities.
Anna provides relationship-centered, trauma-informed care that honors family strengths, lived experience, and cultural knowledge. She has extensive experience offering dyadic, family, and play-based therapy with children from birth through early childhood, as well as supporting caregivers navigating stress, trauma, and complex systems. She offers services in both English and Spanish.
Her approach is shaped by long-standing engagement with Latinx communities through cultural, artistic, and community-based work, as well as lived experience within communities similar to those she serves. Anna holds a deep respect for intergenerational stories, migration histories, and resilience, and partners with families in ways that feel collaborative, respectful, and attuned to what matters most to them.
Anna values reflection, curiosity, and shared meaning-making in the therapeutic process. Families often experience her as warm, steady, and deeply present, with a gentle sense of humor that supports connection alongside careful and thoughtful clinical work.
Anna will begin accepting private-pay families and Kaiser referrals in March. If you’re interested in learning more or would like to be added to the waitlist, we invite you to reach out; we’d love to connect.
