Melany Barr-Patz
Child and Family Therapist

Melany is a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (#15275, supervised by Amanda Campbell, LMFT #50600).

Prior to becoming a counselor, Melany was a preschool and elementary school teacher. She carries much of what she enjoyed about teaching into her work as a counselor, focusing especially on building relationships that nurture and encourage connections. She tailors her approach to match individual needs and values.

Through therapy, she hopes her clients of all ages will discover new ways of connecting with themselves, their loved ones, and the world around them.

Melany particularly enjoys working with neurodivergent children and families. She approaches her work from a neuro-affirming and strengths-based perspective, and loves to incorporate play therapy.

As a Franco-American, Melany is bilingual and happy to provide services in English or French according to preference.
