Melany Barr-Patz, APCC (she/her) is a Franco-American, bilingual French-speaking Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who supports children, tweens, and caregivers through relationship-centered, neuro-affirming, and strengths-based care. She currently offers telehealth services including play therapy, individual therapy, parent consultations, parenting workshops such as Bringing Baby Home, and SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) parent coaching.
Melany is especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals and families, tailoring her approach to honor each person’s unique needs, values, and ways of experiencing the world. Guided by diversity-informed and collaborative practice, Melany approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and flexibility. She is trained in EMDR, neurodivergent play therapy interventions such as Autplay, and SPACE parenting support. Her telehealth support allows families to engage in play-based work from the comfort of home.
