Christine Mirov, M.Ed (she/they) is an early childhood educator and mental health consultant with more than 20 years of experience working alongside children, families, and early learning providers. She partners with preschools to better understand the needs of the children in their care and to support educators in building reflective, sustainable practices that honor both children and the adults who care for them.
Christine offers early childhood director mentoring through her work with the California Early Childhood Mentor Program (CECMP) and as a parent of two and an ADHDer, Christine brings lived experience, humor, and a strong belief in striving for “good-enough” rather than perfect. Her work is grounded in the realities of classroom life and the emotional needs of both children and adults, creating spaces where providers feel supported rather than judged.
Guided by the Diversity-Informed Tenets for Work with Infants, Children, and Families, Christine centers reflection, collaboration, and respect for the lived experiences of providers and families. She holds a Master’s degree in Education from Mills College, a Director-level permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, and is endorsed as an Advanced Transdisciplinary Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Practitioner (0–5).
