Sandra Moore is a founding board member and is the Chief Program Officer at ECEPTS. She brings years of direct service, field-based experience to her role, having worked as a preschool teacher, social worker, and case manager for children with special needs. During her tenure at Contra Costa College from 2006-2022, Sandra served as full-time faculty, Department Chair of the Early Childhood Education Department, and Division Dean of Allied Health, Athletics, and Career Education. She holds a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Mills College, and a bachelor’s degree in Child Development from California State University, Northridge. Whether providing student services, training teachers, or supporting young children and families, Sandra consistently brings positive energy and applies an equity-minded approach.
