Director of Ed. Services

Christine Mirov is an early childhood educator with more than 20 years of professional experience and training in the field of early childhood education. She has a Masters degree in education from Mills college, has a Director level permit from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing and received advanced training in Early Childhood Mental Health at the Harris program at Children's Hospital Oakland. She is currently certified as a Professional Development Specialist for teachers pursuing their CDA credential and a Director Mentor for the CECMP.

Christine enjoys working with preschools to partner with them in understanding the children in their care. As a mother of two who ran her own home-based childcare for six years, she knows how hard it can be to balance the needs of all the children, the staff, and those of parents.

She fully endorses and embraces the Diversity Informed Tenets  for work with infants, children, and families. It is her goal to bring these values into the support she provides for childcare providers and families.
